Assessment and treatment of aphasia and other language and communication difficulties following stroke or other illness. Treatment is tailored to each person's situation and goals, and focuses on giving the client greater independence in everyday life.
Assessment and treatment of hoarseness, vocal fatigue and other voice-related problems. These can be caused by illness, strain or unhelpful vocal habits. With my background as a singer, I have a particular passion for the voice as a means of expression and a working tool.
Assessment and treatment of difficulties with articulation and language in children and adults. Follow-up is tailored to the client's needs and age.
About me
I am a speech and language therapist and special needs educator with a master's degree from the University of Oslo, offering assessment and treatment in Grünerløkka and across Oslo. I work with both children and adults. As a singer of many years, I have a particular interest in and passion for voice disorders.
I combine a research-based approach with individually tailored treatment, and I want you to feel safe, cared for and involved throughout the whole process. Through my master's studies, research work at the University of Oslo and experience in private practice, I have worked with the assessment and treatment of a wide range of speech and language difficulties.

Prices
Prices follow the Norwegian Association of Speech and Language Therapists' recommended rates. With a referral from a doctor, you pay nothing yourself.
Serine has a reimbursement agreement with Helfo, the Norwegian Health Economics Administration. With a referral from a doctor, assessment and treatment are covered in full. The bill is sent directly to Helfo, so you neither pay nor lay out anything yourself.
